The domestic operator assembling Canada's next institutional financial infrastructure

A Canadian operating and investment company building the layer between institutions and the technologies modernizing how capital moves, settles, and is owned.

WHAT WE DO

Money Innovation Labs is a Canadian operating and investment company building the institutional infrastructure layer for Canada's financial modernization. We assemble best-in-class technology partners — global where domestic options don't yet exist at the frontier, Canadian where they do — into a coherent, Canadian-governed platform serving the country's institutions, issuers, and capital markets.

Canada's institutional financial infrastructure is being modernized this decade. The technology is being built — much of it abroad — and Canadian institutions increasingly need modern infrastructure they can adopt under domestic governance and regulatory alignment. We are the operator that assembles it.

The sovereignty positioning isn't political; it's commercial. Canadian institutions require domestic operational governance, sovereign data hosting, and regulatory alignment to adopt modern infrastructure at scale. The opportunity to build the layer that delivers all three is uniquely Canadian — and uniquely now.

For technology partners

MIL works with global and Canadian technology partners to deploy modern institutional infrastructure under Canadian operational governance. We bring market access, institutional engagement, regulatory alignment, and a coordinating role across components. Where the alignment is right, we take structural positions in our partners' ventures.

For investors

MIL is currently engaging with Canadian strategic capital, family offices, and aligned investors who share the conviction that Canada's next institutional infrastructure is worth building deliberately. We invest at the parent level into a platform thesis with both operating and equity-value upside.

for institutional stakeholders & subject-matter experts

MIL is building a network of senior advisors across banking, payments, government procurement, capital markets, and Canadian financial policy. If the work resonates with your background and you want to engage, we'd like to hear from you.

Building Canada's next financial infrastructure is a coordinated effort.

We are open to conversations with technology partners, institutional clients, investors, and senior advisors who share the conviction.
